Cabins

The Peru Belmond Andean Explorer is a South American luxury sleeper train between Cusco to Puno, “Lake Titicaca,” and the white city of Arequipa. It is a luxury experience, and Belmond has succeeded in creating a unique travel experience that combines five-star luxury with exciting attractions and an authentic travel experience in this beautiful region of Peru. This is an overnight train with a journey of one or two nights. Four rooms are available: the fun school and the good old school, where the long sofa converts to the upper and lower beds at night; the twin room; or the large school with two beds and two small beds. As you would expect, every element of this luxury project is impeccable, from the decor from Peru, including alpaca throws and Andean fabrics, to the comfort of the bathroom with air conditioning. Oxygen in each room to help you to the top. (It is one of the tallest trains in the world, after all!).

The train has two dining cars whose favorite team of chefs will treat you to gourmet meals during your journey. These menus are designed by one of the greatest chefs in Peru and are inspired by the region’s diversity and variety of Andean products.

The train also has spacious and comfortable lounge cars with a bar and grand piano for evening drinks while enjoying the sunset and music with old and new friends. The scenic drive is also a great place to enjoy the passing sights. We especially like the open space of the observation car, where you can stand outside and watch the countryside go by.
