At 9:00 in the morning, our tour guide and the vehicle driver go to the client’s hotel where they are staying to pick up the group and start the trip to Chinchero. Once we arrive at the town of Chinchero, we visit a textile center where several indigenous families demonstrate the art of making traditional Inca textiles using organic wool, dyes, and special spinning techniques to obtain beautiful coats.
We officially begin our spectacular trek to the Chinchero ruins to explore the sacred temples, agricultural platforms, plazas, trails, and ritual altars. We then enter the Inca Trail from the Chinchero Ruins to Urquillos del Valle Sagrado. Many families at the time of the Incas and today continue to use this Inca Trail to enter the Sacred Valley quickly.
The panoramic views along the hike are genuinely spectacular, such as the enchanting Poc Poc waterfalls. Once we have finished our beautiful walk, we will travel to the Raqchi viewpoint for other panoramic views of the Sacred Valley before returning to Cusco.
