Tour Sacred Valley, + Scenic Train Ride to Machupicchu
Machu Picchu Tour from Cusco 2 Days: Our day begins when we pick you up from your hotel at 07 am, on a 45-minute drive to the archaeological site of Pisac, where we will appreciate the beautiful Inca architecture. Pisac is one of the best examples of Incan architecture in the Cusco area.
After exploring the Pisac ruins, we head towards the colonial town of Pisac to shop or take lots of photos at the traditional “open daily” artisan market. THEN, we travel through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, passing through beautiful colonial towns and accompanying the beautiful Urubamba River “1 hour and 25 minutes trip” until we reach the village of Ollantaytambo. Ollantaytambo has sacred mountains, temples, Inca Trails, ritual sites, fountains, and enigmatic cut stones. Here we visit the temple of the moon and sun, with the Holy Mountain (Pinkuylluna Mountain) in the background.
In Ollantaytambo, we will understand a small citadel built in stone of Inca origin. At 4:30 in the afternoon (approximate time), we will take the train (usually the Expedition or the one of your choice). We will spend the night in Machu Picchu Pueblo (usually a 2-star hotel); Kondor Path recommends private service.
Make the most of your 2 Day Train Tour of Machu Picchu! Our guided tours will offer unique insights and experiences that will make your visit unforgettable.

Our climate does conform to the Rainy Season (November – March) and the Dry or Sunny Season (April – October). Machu Picchu does locate in a tropical zone, so the climate is warm and humid. Temperatures vary between 8º and 20ºC. The most frequented months are from April to September.

There are the following ways to get to Machu Picchu
BY TRAIN: You can arrive by PERU RAIL and INCA RAIL, with different services and daily departures. There are two stations which are the following
BY BUS: The bus takes approximately 06 hours from Cusco to Hidroeléctrica.
From Hidroeléctrica, you can take a train that will take you to the town of Machupicchu (Aguas Calientes), or you can walk for 2 hours and 30 minutes along the railroad.
When you arrive at Machu Picchu town, you will have to look for your accommodation, so the next day you can go up to Machu Picchu town, on a Consettur bus, for 25 minutes to the main gate of Machu Picchu.
The other option is to walk 1 hour and 30 minutes from the town of the 2-day Machu Picchu Tour (Aguas Calientes) to Machu Picchu.
A tour is the same as to return: buses leave Hidroeléctrica at 14:00 hours to Cusco.
BY TREKKING: What can do the arrival at Machu Picchu through walks
Doing routes like the Classic Inca Trail 4D/3N, with varieties like the Salkantay Trek 5D/4N, Lares Trek 4D/3N, enjoying the thermal baths in the Inca Jungle 4D/3N, all these ending the visit in Machu Picchu Town, having train and bus return.
Regarding the entrance Tickets, there are limitations for conservation reasons. These are detailed below:
The Ministry of Culture is in charge of administering the entrance regulations to Machu Picchu.
You can make reservations at any time, depending on the ticket availability; if you want, the entrance ticket to Huaynapicchu must be at least three months in advance, as this tour reasonably demands.
Considering the schedules above, it is impossible since there are only two different access tickets for both. Before making the reservation, you can reserve the two tickets independently to enjoy an excellent guided tour of Machu Picchu and a great hiking adventure through the mountains of Huayna Picchu.
Yes, it is easy to find several guide services in Machu Picchu, in a group or shared service (15 to 20 people), with a cost of $ 30.00, and another private service in different languages at various prices. Depending on the tongue, from $ 90.00 to more.
You can enter from 06:00 am to see the sunrise and close at 17:00. The first bus starts at 05:30 from Machu Picchu Picchu village (Aguas Calientes) and leaves every 05 minutes.
It does locate in Machu Picchu’s town, at the end of Pachacuteq Avenue, 20 minutes from the town square of Machu Picchu. The thermal baths are better known as “Machu Picchu Pueblo.”
Not necessarily; you can do the paperwork, but it can be a complete mess due to the long waits you must make, and without proper guidance, you could buy the wrong tickets. If you hire an agency, they will handle all the appropriate paperwork; Kondor Path Tours does it responsibly.
There is no age limit, and everyone is welcome.
