Itinerary

South Valley Tour Cusco, Itinerary

We will start to tour the valley in the city’s south in the morning.

EXPLORE:

TIPON RUINS PERU

It will stay in your memory and haunt your dreams. Today, Tipon feels like a sacred place. Visit the archaeological site of Tipon to observe several royal families of Inca Viracocha. This building is famous for its imperial style, impressive water conservancy projects, and magnificent mountain views. The terraces here are outstanding. After exact calculations, it is sometimes almost a vertical waterfall, which constitutes a water conservancy project. Temple dedicated to spring water. An architecture built by the best Inca engineers to present the ritual hydraulic system to future generations.

PIKILLAQTA

The Wari controlled this critical point on the Incas’ previous route to Lake Titicaca. Discover with us the little-known treasures of the Cusco South Valley. This city must accommodate about fifteen thousand people.

  • The Wari Cultural City shows about 700 buildings between Inca houses.
  • The city has a harmonious and almost perfect geometric design, divided into blocks and straight streets.
  • Their structure has 02 to 03 plants.

The bottom of the wall is much thicker, and the upward width gradually decreases. The castle must have a population of about 15,000 at its peak.

RUMI PUNKU

Pyramidal construction with Inca imperial masonry; At the top, it contains a water channel that goes to the Inca citadel of Pikillacta.

ANDAHUAYLILLAS

A replica of the Inca version of the Sistine Chapel of America, this baroque church is located in a beautiful and peaceful square and is famous for its incredible artwork. It has many examples of exquisite paintings completed by Escuela Cuzqueña. The most striking is the fresco paintings and their Sunday song at the festival of the Andean people.
