Detailed Lares Trek Full Day Itinerary 

Embark on an epic adventure with the 1 Day Lares Trek! Discover the stunning Andean highlands while trekking over vast plateaus, and explore local villages and cultural sites. Here’s everything you need to know!

Description of the Lares Trek of a full day through the Andes

We start the car trip at 05:00 am from the city of Cusco, Peru. We head northwest towards the town of Calca, where we will take the path that will take us to the beginning of our adventure. During the vehicular trip, we will have spectacular panoramic views of the Andes and the southern Andean camelids.

Upon reaching the community of Huaca Wasi, our Lares walk begins. The Lares adventure is an ascent to the top of approximately three and a half hours until you reach the mountain pass called Ipsay. Then we will descend downhill for 2 hours to reach Patacancha, and for the last visit, we will observe more alpacas until the end of our adventure.
