Choquequirao Travel Guide

Walking through one of Peru’s deepest canyons is an excellent experience for hiking and camping lovers. The Choquequirao ruins are located along several trails in the Apurimac canyon. To get there, you must walk for two days. This journey leads you to the top of the mountain.

You will explore another wonder of Cusco, the fortress temple of Choquequirao. We offer several tour packages to visit Choquequirao. These packages last 4 or 5 days. The return trip passes through the Apurímac Canyon via Capuliyoc and Cachora. Depending on the explorer, we can also hike to Yanama.

This will take us to the Lucmabamba Inca Trail. From there, we will get our first panoramic view of Machu Picchu. You can continue the trip and take the Short Inca Trail to reach Machu Picchu.

This journey through Choquequirao lasts about 6 to 7 days. Please choose one of the options we offer. If you don’t find the trek you’re looking for, contact us. We will send you the best information about a new itinerary.
