In the morning, we have a short train ride to the start of the Short Inca Trail, located at kilometer 104 of the railway. The walk takes around 5 hours to reach Machu Picchu: “3 hours of climbing and 2 hours of semi-flat walking”.
During the walk, explore archaeological groups such as Chachabamba, Wiñaywayna, and Inti Punku. From the ruins of Inti Punku, the panoramic views of Machu Picchu are great in all their magnitude. Upon arrival at Machu Picchu, we have an entire sector for hikers to take classic photos of it in all its splendor for about 15 minutes.
After the walk and respective photos, we boarded the bus service to travel to Machu Picchu Pueblo for about 25 minutes.

The origin of the potato is Peru, in South America. Now, we have a guided tour of the Paru-Paru potato park near the Pisac ruins in the Sacred Valley. The best potatoes: meet them in person in Kinsacocha! Over 2,000 varieties of potatoes exist, and the indigenous people continue to preserve them for future generations.
Today, we participate in the daily activities of the residents of the potato park. Enjoy a delicious organic potato-based lunch before heading back to Cusco. On the way back, we stop at the Inca ruins of Pisac to visit them.
