Known as the “White City,” this place has buildings made from sillar, a white volcanic stone. Its beautiful colonial structures attract many visitors. UNESCO has declared it a World Heritage Site. Stunning snowy mountains and volcanoes, including Misti, Chachani, and Pichu Pichu, surround the city. It is also near the Colca Canyon, one of the world’s deepest canyons.
