Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1

Machupicchu from Ollantaytambo-Cusco

Machu Picchu requires just a daypack or minimal luggage.

At 5:10, we will pick you up at your hotel. Then, we will go to the Inca Rail train company. There, we will board the train to Ollantaytambo.

We go down to the Urubamba River. It is next to the Andes mountains. Then, we reach the jungle area of Machupicchu Pueblo.

When we arrived in Aguas Calientes, our guide met us at the train station. We then went to the bus station. From there, we took a bus to Machu Picchu. This is the only Inca citadel, and it was not found until 1911.

  • Bring your passport to show to the train service and the MP main gate.

Explore the Inca citadel for two hours, walking and taking many photos to complete the circuit. Then we go to Aguas Calientes to board the train service to Poroy station. In Poroy, our vehicle driver waits for the group to go to Cusco. We will leave them at their respective hotels.
