The Artisan Market of Aguas Calientes is located inside the railway station, a must-see for travelers descending the train.

The handicraft market of the Machu Picchu district boasts many stalls. It is essential in producing, exhibiting, and marketing decorative and valuable handicrafts and products.

Among the various products on sale, you can find handicrafts made from Inca pottery, looms and carpets, plaster sculptures, and paintings from the Cusco artisan school. We also have silverware and jewelry carved in stone and wood, vestments made from vicuna wool and alpaca, leather accessories, straw baskets, antiques, and more.

The production centers are located in the same village of Machu Picchu (Aguas Calientes) and the surrounding peasant communities; these add producers of Cusco, Pisac, Ollantaytambo, and Chinchero.
