Colca Canyon 3 Day Trek: An Outdoor Hiking Adventure with Much More Time to Enjoy Every Corner of the Colca Canyon. Travel from Puno, Lake Titicaca, or the white city of Arequipa to arrive at the start of the adventurous trek “CABANACONDE.” Descend and ascend the Colca Canyon. The 3 Day Colca Canyon Trekking Circuit Plan: On day 1, we start the trip at 07:30, making stops to visit the canyon viewpoints, observe herds of Vicuñas, etc. Upon arrival in Chivay, we will stay at a hotel in Chivay and then visit the thermal baths of La Calera to enjoy a spectacular dip. On the second day, we head to Cabanaconde to officially start the trek and fully enjoy the Colca Canyon.

The 3-day hike will take you through stunning landscapes and traditional Colca villages. You’ll have the opportunity to see the majestic Andean condor soaring above you and soak in the natural hot springs of Calera to soothe your muscles after a long day of hiking. This trek is perfect for adventure seekers who want to experience the beauty and culture of Peru.
At 9:00, the tour guide and the private tourist transport go to the travelers’ hotel to carry out the transfer service and start the trip to Cabanaconde, near the Colca Canyon. During the trip’s four and a half hours, there are technical stops to stretch your legs, take pictures of the Andes of Arequipa, and enjoy the panoramic views.
Note: There is no hiking activity today. Creating the itinerary for the first day is about leaving Arequipa or Puno at a suitable and enjoyable time.

Enjoy the walk to the fullest! We start hiking at 07:30 from Cabanaconde, descending into the depths of the Colca Canyon until reaching the Colca River. We cross the suspension bridge and ascend towards San Juan de Chuccho.
We continue the walk, bordering the Colca Canyon, gradually ascending until we reach the zigzag system that goes up to Cosñirhua and Malata. From Cosñirhua, the path is semi-flat until we find the way that descends towards the Colca Canyon towards Sangalle, “the Oasis.”

This is my last day! Hike out of the Colca Canyon uphill through a zigzagging system until you reach Cabanaconde. At 5:00 a.m., the walk begins and takes about three and a half hours, a challenging hike with fantastic sunrise views.
We board the private transport in Cabanaconde to return to Arequipa, but before that, we have some technical stops, such as stopping to enjoy the flight of the condors at the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint.
In Chivay, enjoy the thermal baths of La Calera after the great trekking expedition through the Colca Canyon. Then we return to Arequipa directly, without stops. NOTE: If the group needs to travel to Puno, write to us.
