Sacred Valley Day Trek: Venture to the incredible light walk through the Sacred Valley to start your excursions through the Southern Peruvian Andes and adapt to the elevations of the Andes before embarking on other tours. STARTS the moderate walk in Chinchero. The Sacred Valley walk lasts about 3 hours and a half, with breaks from different viewpoints.
The activities through the Sacred Valley Walk begin with a visit to the textile center of Chinchero, where the indigenous people show the ancestral techniques of spinning, dyeing, and stretching organic textiles. Next, explore the Chinchero ruins with their ritual altars still used by indigenous priests. Then, we officially begin the trek through the Sacred Valley, enjoying the fantastic Poc-Poc waterfalls. Tourist activity: Why You’ll Love the Sacred Valley Trek
At 9:00 a.m., we pick up the visitors from their hotel to start the trip to Chinchero. To start the Sacred Valley trek, we begin with a textile tour of the Inca culture preserved by indigenous families. Next, explore the ruins of Chinchero with its trails, temples, Inca houses, and viewpoints with incredible panoramic views to officially give way to the adventure through the Sacred Valley Trek.
The Inca Trail of the Sacred Valley remains intact to this day. Magnificent three-and-a-half-hour hike up the mountain until you reach Wayllabamba. There are a couple of viewpoints where the panoramic views embellish our adventure, and we also discover the Poc-Poc waterfall. Back in Cusco, enjoy the Raqchi viewpoint to take other photographs of the Sacred Valley and its scenic charms.
Note: If the client requires that we leave them in Urubamba or Ollantaytambo, we will be happy to transport them after the excursion.
