Kondor Path is by far the best private tour company i've worked with, and i've traveled to over forty countries. Patricia organized our trip and she was so responsive, answered all of my multitude of questions, and carefully organized 7 days in Puno, Cusco, and Sacred Valley. She gave us recommendations as well as let us know expectations in terms of booking the more private hikes in Machu Picchu. Even during our trip we were exchanging e-mails with her, and she followed up with us throughout our time in Peru to make sure we were ok. A+ to Patricia, she was such a pleasure to work with.Fernando was our transfer guide throughout our time in Peru, and he was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and just full of knowledge. He went out of his way to book a few restaurants for us to have dinner at in Cusco, and physically walked to the restaurant to secure a booking to ensure we enjoyed the best restaurants. During our trip, we had a little mishap with an outside bus company who transferred us from PUNO to Cusco, and upon our arrival to Cusco, Fernando was on top of making sure our mishap was taken care of and even got us a partial refund. Such a pleasure meeting and getting to work with Fernando during our trip.Jose Tito was our guide throughout Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley and he was a pleasure to be around. Throughout our hikes he made sure we were ok, stopping for breaks as needed, and he even assisted in taking many incredible photos. On our last day in Machu Picchu, Jose insisted that we wake up early to watch the sunrise over Machu Picchu, and he stood in line for us at 3am and secured an early bus for us to the site. What a gentleman! Honestly, we had such an amazing time in Peru and I cannot recommend more to use Kondor Path if you're looking to book a private tour. They can arrange the trip to fit your budget, and were able to adjust our accommodation and activities to fit our needs. We were so well taken care of during our week in Peru. On our last night, we took the Hiram Bingham train back to Cusco and accidentally left our phone charger on the train. Fernando and Patricia went out of their way to get a hold of the train company, locate the charger, and drop the charger off to our hotel first thing in the morning. I honestly have never worked with a tour company like this one who cares so deeply about their customers. If you're looking to travel to Peru, I highly HIGHLY recommend going with Kondor Path tours, you won't regret it!

The overall experience was amazing. Starting with Patricia’s extremely helpful emails and support in finding the right trekking experience for us. Everything was organized and set up for us all the way til the last meeting with our guide Jose and Sherpa team organizer Leonardo. The transport, walk on the Inca trail and visit of the sites were breathtaking. Our cooks did an amazing job at feeding us local food while always chatting and being friendly with us. I would strongly recommend that company and trip to anyone. Many thanks to the entire team: Patricia, Jose, Leonardo, and all the guys who carried our belongings. I would love to do it again with my kids one day!

The company and our guides were outstanding! The tour guides were timely, friendly, and funny. They became part of the family. We would highly recommend.

Our three day tour of Inca sites near Cusco and Machu Picchu was outstanding. Kondor organized the tour exactly as we wished and executed it to perfection. Our guide Jose was fantastic, very knowledge and friendly. We highly recommend Kondor Path.

Great trip on the Inca Trail. Great team! Chef was great- like eating at a restaurant at every meal. Porters were awesome, courteous and so fast! I was blown away at their speed between campsites, carrying 65+ pounds, up and down the mountains. Truly a sight to behold! Jose Ttito was an excellent guide. He was personable and his English is great. He provided lots of Incan history along the way that really enriched the trip. Respect Pacha Mama! I would recommend Jose to anyone!

This review is kind of long, and you may not read all of it. So my summary is that the tour was all I expected. But we had several significant last-minute events, and Kondor Path was excellent in dealing with these. The tour could have been a complete bust--instead Kondor Path's team reacted quickly and well, and their actions made this trip one the highlights of my life, which my son and I will never forget.My (30 year old) son and 8 booked the Sacred Valley/Short Inca Trail 3D/2N tour. The tour was all we expected. We booked it thinking that the one day tour allowed us able to see a bit more of the Inca Culture, while getting a feel for the Inca Trail. (Due to time constraints, we could not do the full 4 or 5 day Inca Trail.) The tour was everything we expected. We were able to see Ollantaytambo, as well as we had an amazing day at Machu Picchu. Clear skies, with a few clouds. Sunny and warm, but not too hot. The guide, Jose, the driver (Roberto) were great, tailoring and adjusting the tour to our requests. In setting up the tour, we corresponded by email with Patricia, who was always very quick to respond with accurate and helpful information. We had high expectations and the tour met them. They arranged good hotels, that met our expectations and needs.If this was all that Kondor Path did, I might rate them 4 stars. What was truly exceptional was how they handled the unplanned events. Our tour was supposed to start on Thursday. We arrived in Cusco on Tuesday to acclimate to the altitude, giving us one day to tour Cusco on our own. On Wednesday, about 11:30 AM, they began hunting us down via email and calls to our hotel (we were out around Cusco). They reached us about 11

Spent almost a week touring the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu with guide Jose and driver Roberto. When planning the trip, I asked a ton of questions via email, and always received prompt, detailed replies. The trip ended up being exactly what we wanted, and every detail was coordinated perfectly.Our guide, Jose, was a wealth of information and provided a great tour. We felt very well cared for, and he made a few small changes in the itinerary to accommodate our wishes to see things. Our driver Roberto expertly navigated some crazy roads.This trip was a bucket list trip, and thanks to Kondor Path, it was perfect.
