So helpful and friendly from the first moment that Patricia, Bonnie and Jotase met us at the airport. They continued to customize the tours based on our needs and limitations but packing in as many key places in all three days. Very knowledgeable.

“Excellent organization, knowledgeable guides, and a seamless Machu Picchu experience.”

We did the Lares Trek to Machu Picchu and it was one of the most beautiful experiences of our 3 weeks in Perù. The first thing that striked us was the availabilty and flexibility of the Kondor Path people. They have basically designed the itinerary around our needs and interests. And they came to our hostel on an early Sunday morning to discuss it with us and refine the last but important details. The second very impressive aspect was the organization. They wrote down every single detail of the 3 days, together with maps and practical information and gave it to us in a nice print out and customized form. The evening before leaving they delivered to our hostel 2 bags where to put our "bulky" items to be carried by the horses that accompanied us along the path. Our guide Chris was very experienced and knowleageable about whatever subject related to Perù.The food was simply awesome, cooked on the spot (even at 4000m!!) and the gluten allergy of my girlfriend was taken very seriously. Finally, what we paid was definitely fine for such a service. Other bigger agencies offered us much higher prices for the same services. Besides, as far as we understood, Kondor Path reinvests all its profit locally, whereas others have also big interests out of Perù.Thanks Fernando and Patricia for this fantastic experience!!!!
Thanks Fernando and all guys from the Condor Path Tours for the well organised trip. I hope one day we will come back with Alberto.
From the moment we inquire to finally met Patricia in Cusco, Peru, everything was spot on. The service is flawless. All the information that we needed were given to us, by email and hard copy when we arrived in Cusco. The car service was first class as well, with very nice driver. Our tour guide was exceptional as well. Overall, it is the best decision we had, we enjoyed Machu Picchu without worrying about our tickets. We just needed to be there and enjoy the breath taking view Machu Picchu offers. I'll definitely recommend Kondor Path Tours - remember, it is with a K for Kondor!!!
Kudos to Patricia, Bonnie and our driver Hotase. Thank you for making our Cusco trip memorable. I booked them at the last minute based on TA reviews, they returned my email almost right away. I emailed them my "wish list" of all the places I wanted to go. They changed some due to distance and added some. Our tour spanned 3 days, and over those 3 days, our guide Bonnie and Hotase exhibited just pure professionalism and an honest desire to help you out. They even helped out with lost luggages, transport from Ollantaytambo to Cusco after an Inca Trail trek (from another co) even in light of a strike/protest. They went above and beyond. Too bad I can only give them 5 stars.
Service is excellent. From airport pick up to the actual tour. Patricia, Bonnie, Hotase our driver and Fernando are very accommodating. Highly recommended tour agency. Thanks again!
The excellent ratings are all true and well deserved! And let me tell you, it's been hard to find the right company for a solo traveler like me to get tours with. It seemed like my choice was either go with 29 other tourists or nothing at all since most companies only offer private tours for a minimum of 2 people. As time went on, though, I started disliking the thought of being on a bus of 30 tourists. On top of that, I wanted to hike Pinkuylluna (the granaries opposite the Ollantaytambo ruins) and it seemed that other companies like to stick to their ready-made itineraries, where Pinkuylluna is definitely not included. But not Kondor Path. The moment I asked about this from Patricia of the booking dept through chat, she didn't bat an eyelash and just told me the consequence (a visit to Chinchero would have to be removed or moved to another day). Everything with Kondor Path went smoothly. Patricia emailed promptly and regularly and came to see me on my 1st day of tour for balance payment and I was lucky to be introduced to Henry as my guide, who is a great companion and photographer, and Climaco as my driver, who is one of the best drivers I ever rode with (and cleaned the car all the time lol). I felt safe and cared for throughout. And like what others have said, I got to enjoy touring the sites before the hordes of other tourists arrived and I couldn't help but compare what I got to what they got: they didn't have their guides' full attention and were mostly left to their own devices after being given the history of the site and then they either get hurried or simply given a specific time to be back to their bus (I witnessed some running back to their bus). More importantly, I got to eat really good food at local eateries (polleria, pikanteria, a chifa restaurant) and wasn't forced to eat somewhere really touristy (I also got to eat really good helado on a whim). Since my experience was so good, I changed my tour on the 3rd day from a half day tour to a full day tour and Patricia came to see me early that morning, along with Fernando, who I'm happy to meet. If you are not on a tight budget, since these don't come cheap, then get a private tour and make sure to get it only with Kondor Path. It'll be one of the best decisions you make for your Cusco-Machu Picchu vacation and it'll be worth every penny.
Thanks again to Kondor Path Tours for arranging a tour around my difficult schedule. I booked the Salt Mines Peru (Maras Moray) Half Day Tour as a solo traveler. The Kondor Path team made it an easy process from start to finish. Patricia was fantastic to work with behind the scenes, and Fernando was an amazing tour guide. He was incredibly engaging and knowledgeable about the sites we visited. He was able to answer all of my questions and provided interest information about Peru and its incredible history. Thanks to Fernando, I experienced the sites rather than simply visited them. I highly recommend Kondor Path Tours for a fairly priced, high quality experience.
I would not hesitate to recommend Kondor Path Tours after engaging them for our 6 days trip in the Sacred Valley, Cusco and Machu Picchu. Special thanks to Patricia, Jimmy and our driver. We had a wonderful time and everything has been well looked after. They are neither the cheapest nor the most expensive. The car they used for the four of us was a big new van that can fit over 10 pp. A very warm welcome by many staff from their company at the airport. They required money upfront and I was a bit hesitant not knowing whether they will not show up for their service, but Jimmy and the driver showed up on time everyday for our activities. It showed that they could be trusted 100%. Very good service and accommodating. I think they are a very local company in Cusco so their services are authentic and particularly genuine. Thank you for looking after us and looking forward to joining other packages you may have for us.
Amazing experience with Kondor Path. The night before going to Machu Picchu our family decided we wanted to use a tour company and Kondor Path was very accommodating. They were able to provide us with a tour guide (Victor) at Machu Picchu (there was no issue trying to find him and he was very knowledgable & friendly). The following 3 days we toured through Ollantaytambo, Chinchero, Cusco, and the Sacred Valley with our tour guide (different from our Machu Picchu guide) and driver. Our guide (William) was very helpful, knowledgable, was always willing to accommodate any of our requests, and fluent in english (in case this is a concern for non-spanish speaking families). We had about a 15 seater van to ourselves (a group of 3), so space was not an issue, the ride was comfortable, and our driver was good. Pickup and drop off at our hotels each day, we were able to adjust the start time of each day if we felt that we didn't want to get up too early, our guide/driver got us to places when they were less busy so we avoided major crowds, and they also took us to a lot of great local places to eat each day along the way. Highly recommend Kondor Path and if you can get William as your guide, I highly recommend him as well!
