Tourist Activities
Our Kondor Path Tours team arrives at the hotel. They are ready to begin the photo tour of Cusco and its surrounding areas.
Our first visit is to the San Cristóbal viewpoint. From this viewpoint, you can see the main square of Cusco. You can see other courts and colonial houses. You can also visit the solar enclosure of the Inca empire founders, Manco Capac and Mama Ocllo.
We continue to explore to reach the Inca site of Sacsayhuaman. The stone buildings are enormous, and the photos will be amazing. Since the complex is quite large, we will have several focal points for photography. We will walk through almost all the crucial sectors of Sacsayhuaman.
As an integral part of the tour, we visit smaller ruins, including Pucapucara, Qenqo, and Tambomachay. We will see them all, looking for unique photographic angles to take fantastic images. That is why we will spend the whole day exploring the Inca temples and enjoying the Andes’ great outdoors.

We leave the city of Cusco at 07:00. Then, we go to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. There, we will explore amazing archaeological parks. You can enjoy great views of the Andes and nearby streams. We believe the best way to see and explore a place is with a camera and a trained eye.
Explore:
Before reaching the Inca Valley, we will make two stops at the Taray viewpoints. From the first viewpoint, we have panoramic views of the vast Andes mountain range with some glaciers. We will also observe colonial populations with corn plantations around the Urubamba River. From the second viewpoint, we can see the beautiful colonial town of Pisac. We also see the amazing Inca-built terraces that line the mountain.
We keep going until we reach the Cuyo Chico viewpoint. Here, we can see other Inca platforms with floating steps and paths on the other side of the mountain. We will have different and surprising photos of the Cuyo Chico Valley and the Inca buildings at their best.
We will take a personal tour of the traditional Inca market in the colonial town of Pisac. There are many souvenir vendors, and the stores are very colorful. Each photographer can take photos as they please, combining beautiful expressions of color and shadow.
We explore the archaeological group of Ollantaytambo. As we walk through the square, we will take a short stroll down the Inca streets. The houses are built in a way that connects beautifully with the roads. The photographic view within the route is the Inca complex itself.
At around 16:36, we board the train at the Ollantaytambo train station. After a 1-hour and 40-minute journey, we arrive in the jungle of Machu Picchu. We get on the tourist bus to see the fantastic architecture of Machupicchu. We want to take panoramic photos from a high viewpoint. We will watch the sunset and capture the colors of Machupicchu in the afternoon.
