At 1:30 p.m., we travel for 1 hour and 15 minutes to the Huacachina desert to observe the spectacular oasis. At 4:00 p.m., we venture out in tubular vehicles to explore the Ica dunes at full speed and feel the adrenaline near the Peruvian coast.
We do the buggy excursion in the afternoon because the weather is a little cooler and especially to watch the sunset over the Peruvian sea. Before returning to Huacachina, we slide down one of the three highest dunes.
At 9 in the morning, we visit the center of Ica, the main square with the Cathedral of Luren; then we go to the wineries between Ica and Pisco.
Explore the wineries and vineyards of Ica, “the Pisco Route,” and observe the traditional process of making the Peruvian national drink: Pisco.
The guided tour through the processes of its Pisco varieties dates from the time of the Spanish colony to the Republican era, where we continue to preserve the Peruvian culture in beverages. After the experience of the Pisco route, we return to Lima, “3 hours and 50 minutes of travel”.
