The moonwalk of Quillarumiyoc is one of the exploration expeditions to different areas not visited. I am looking for the remote Andes! This tour is for adventurers heading to Machu Picchu, Peru.

Moonstone Trek 5d

A route that is gradually gaining prestige for all hikers. The peculiarity of this adventure is to cross the Andes of the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. The good news is that there are no tourists on the route, and we will be the only ones to enjoy our outdoor vacations.



D-1: Cusco – Quillarumiyoc – Molinuyoc – Wata – Chillipahua
D-2: Chillipahua – Accoccasa Pass – Chancachuco
D-3: Chancachuco – Wayrac Punku – Inca Quarry
D-4: Inca Quarry – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes Hotel
D-5: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco


  • Enjoy stunning panoramic views of breathtaking valleys of Patacancha and Urubamba.
  • Explore Inca Machu Picchu citadel, with an overnight in Aguas Calientes.


Day 1

The expedition begins at 5:00 a.m. We head northwest to Cusco to reach Quilla Rumiyoc and explore the Temple of the Moon. The trek ascends from Molinuyoc to reach Wata and Chilipahua.

  • Distance to hike: 10 km/ 6.2 miles
  • Trek time: 7 hours.
  • Difficulty: Moderate.
  • Meals: Lunch, Dinner

Day 2

Our second day of adventure is ascending on steep mountainsides; we have some vistas of the surrounding Andes Mountains. After lunch, we cross the Accoccasa Pass 4,625 m / 15,170 ft. viewing the Veronica Mount. 5,882 m / 19,096 ft. and other glaciers mountains.

  • Distance to hike: 12 km/ 7.4 miles
  • Trek time: 9 hours
  • Difficulty: difficult “long day.”
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 3

We continue our expedition through a small and beautiful canyon that leads to the Silque Valley.

  • Distance to hike: 9 km/ 5 miles
  • Trek time: 7 hours

  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 4

The scenic views are spectacular of Nevada Wakaywillka, the Sacred Valley, and the Andes mountain range.

  • Distance to hike: 9km/5 miles.
  • Trek time: 4 hours
  • Difficulty: Moderate to easy
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Day 5

Today we have Machu Picchu guided tour.


Moonstone Trek 5d Inclusion:

  • Professional guide in the English language
  • Trekking services include the main camp cook and assistant cook.
  • Mountain equipment (customer tents, dining tent, kitchen tent, foam mattress, tables, sits)
  • All meals on the itinerary (4 Breakfasts, four Lunches, 3 Dinners). Vegetarian people, or vegan, free meals on request at no extra cost!
  • Vehicle to the trailhead.
  • Tourist train in and out (Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes village)
  • Entrance fee to Machu Picchu Park.
  • Hotel 2 star (El Presidente) in Aguas Calientes village on day four
  • Two bus tickets (Aguas Calientes – Machupicchu – Aguas Calientes).
  • Donkeys to carry camp gear and personal hiker equipment. Maximum weight per hiker 7kg / 15 lbs.
  • Kondor Path Company will provide a duffel bag for your gear.
  • Transfer service (Ollantaytambo to Cusco)
  • First-aid kit and a bottle of oxygen.

Moonstone Trek 5d Does Not Include:

  • Water on Day 1, just half a day
