Itinerary

Day-1. Short Inka Trail 🙂

We leave the city of Cusco at approximately 04:30 am to board the train service from the Ollantaytambo train station. The train ride lasts 1 hour and 35 minutes; We get off the train with our tour guide at kilometer 104 to explore the archaeological ruins and fauna of the “cloud forest” area.

There are three hours of ascent and two hours of the semi-undulating path until reaching the viewpoints of Machupicchu. The entrance to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu is masterful for the quality of the paved trail.

Itinerary Summary

  • At 4:00 am, your guide with our van will pick you up at your hotel in the city of Cusco and will transfer you immediately to the Ollantaytambo train station.
  • (The train leaves at 6:40 am). You will travel through the Sacred Valley to the Ollantaytambo train station.
  • At the 8:10 am checkpoint, we must show our original passport.
  • At 9:30, we will immediately start the Inca trail.
  • At 17:20, take the bus to Aguas Calientes.

Day-2. Machu Picchu Guided Tour

Machu Picchu, an enigmatic and mysterious city; Description of activities: Buffet breakfast at the hotel, then we board the shared bus service of the Consettur company “30 minutes of travel”.

We arrived at Machu Picchu; We presented the entrance ticket with the respective passport and began the guided exploration of Machu Picchu. At the end of the guide, we leave the Inca citadel built in stone, and then we make the line to board the bus service to the town. Upon reaching the village of Aguas Calientes, we will have time to have lunch “not included” and then go to the train station to board it and begin to return to the city of Cusco via Ollantaytambo – Chinchero.

Day-3. Rainbow Mountain Trek + The Red Valley

We start the trip from the city of Cusco around 06:00 am, “not too early and too late,” we believe is a suitable time for the entire group of adventurers since the service is private. We arrive at the end of the Cusipata carriage trail to begin walking along the walkers’ path. We reached the top of the mountain of colors, and then we continued to the red valley. The two routes are two beautiful sites with impressive panoramic views of the Andes Mountains and unique scenic landscapes in the south of Cusco; Altogether, the visit does complete with the sighting of alpacas along the route in their natural habitat.
