Cusco Imperial Adventure Tour starts at 9:00 AM when our transport picks you up from your hotel and transports you towards Pucapucara (3,773 m/12,378 ft.) an Incan fortress. Here we view stone masonry in a very peculiar style (Incan rosettes). The Inca path continues through the Andean valley Cusco Imperial Adventure Tour where we see some Wakas (Inka altars and temples) dedicated to Pachamama (mother earth).  The stone masonry, all made in natural rock formations, are in the shape of pumas, condors, and snake symbols.

At the Amarumachay Incan site (3,575 m/11,728 ft.) we explore the natural rock formations which were carved into a large number of stairways and niches. On the upper side, there are foundations of some other buildings and an Intiwatana (solar observatory) sculpted in the same rock. In the lower part there is a passage joining the two faces of this shrine that were carved taking advantage of the natural fault. In addition, there are two carved rooms inside the great rock formation which Cusco Imperial Adventure Tour were strictly for religious activities. The second room (the upper one), which is the most important, is a great chamber with an entrance carved into a snake shape. (There is a large and a small snake representing wisdom and knowledge.) Deeper inside there are niches, an altar,  and an interesting skylight in the ceiling that represents the moon temple. At midnight during the full moon closest to the winter solstice (24th June), the cave’s interior is fully illuminated by moonlight. As we continue following the ancient Inka trail, we have another important altar site called Cusilluchayoc, the Wayracpunku area, and another Incan site.
