This four-day trek is a well-liked substitute for the traditional Inca Trail. It provides a distinctive and less congested experience, leading to the famous Machu Picchu ruins.

Travel by vehicle from Cusco to Lares: Initial hike from Kiswarani to Coyalay
At 05:30, we have the transfer service at the clients’ hotel to start the trip to the beginning of the Lares trekking. The journey takes about 3 hours via Cusco towards the Sacred Valley, passing through the town of Calca. In Calca, we take another road to ascend towards the Andes de Lares until we reach Qiswarani, the “beginning of the walk.”
Our walk today is light and leisurely to adapt to the elevations of the Andes and take beautiful panoramic photos with unique details of the Lares environment. The hike begins in Quiswarani, passing through the spectacular seven mini waterfalls of Coyalay to climb the last section towards the top of the mini waterfalls and near the Coyalay lagoon.
TREK: A quiet day hike. The route takes hikers through two attractive weaving communities. Let your heart take you away as you experience Peru’s Sacred Valley of the Incas in all its glory during our spectacular 4-day Lares Trek!

From the Condor pass, we head towards the domains of the Cancha Cancha Valley with an impressive view of abundant herds of llamas and alpacas.
